Volunteer Opportunities
Event Calendar





Support Partner Program
    The Support Partners are volunteers that provide information and support to families of survivors of brain injury (usually in a hospital or rehab setting). Volunteers will be paired with a family as referrals come in. Volunteers are asked to complete a training session and will be provided materials and information to give to the families. Hours/days vary.
Speakers Bureau/Prevention Program
    Speakers are needed to provide educational presentations to the community about the Brain Injury Association and about brain injury. Materials and training will be provided. Hours/days vary.

    Speakers are also needed for our School Site Prevention Program. Presentations are made to elementary, junior, and senior high school students about safety and preventing brain injury. Materials and training are provided. Hours/days vary.

    Volunteers are needed to staff the Brain Injury Association's display at various health fairs and community events. Materials and orientation are provided. Hours/days vary.
General Office Volunteers
    Volunteers are needed to help in the office with special projects, mailings, etc. Hours/days flexible.
Special Events/Fundraising

    Volunteer opportunities vary when planning and preparing for events. There is a volunteer position guaranteed to fit each individual's interest and availability. For specific events, please contact the Brain Injury Association at 816-842-8607 or specify below and you will be contacted.
